Bad Boys For Life full movie review

This production marks the return, 25 years later, of two rebel policemen, such as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnet, on a new and final mission, before retiring, who bring great doses of humor and lots of action, in this third installment of the saga, where as in the previous ones humor is mixed with action.
They wanted these two characters to return to the screens after the good taste in their mouths left in the two previous installments of Two rebel policemen (1995) and Two rebel policemen II (2003), both directed by Michael Bay.
And after many efforts by Will Smith, above all, they have returned but this time directed by the filmmakers of Belgian nationality, although of Moroccan origin, Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah, responsible for films such as Black (2015) and Gangsta (2018 ), two titles that opened the doors of Hollywood cinema.

Now Detective Mike Lowrey asks his friend Marcus Burnett, who has retired after being a grandfather, to make one last effort so that together with the Miami Police, they capture the drug trafficker Armando Armas, the leader of a Miami drug cartel. , a young criminal who is dominated by his mother Isabel Aretas, to which his friend refuses.
When Mike is shot by the drug trafficker and wounded, with his life in danger of death, his friend Marcus does not stray from his side and although he has made the promise to God not to provoke more violence, it convinces him to carry out this their last adventure, although they are no longer the 26-year-old boys as when they started.
The film has a rich script by Chris Bremner, Peter Craig and Joe Carnahan, not only full of adventures but also many things happen with unexpected twists that keep the viewer's interest at all times how the melodrama that arises in the final meters of this story.
Those who have already seen the first two will be happy to have these two characters back in action and those who do not know them, due to their youth, we are sure that they will have a good time, not only with the action scenes, but with the comic situations that are generated at each moment between the two.
In this sense, the film starts one of the most vertiginous and dangerous races that we have seen in a long time on the screen, in which it not only generates emotion but also comedy at the attitude adopted by Marcus due to the reckless driving of his friend Mike.

As we said in this new production, Michael Bay is not behind the cameras, but in front, reserving a small cameo, but the two colleagues who have replaced him at the wheel of this story have nothing to envy regarding the moments of risk and action , since it seems that they are his students.
Regarding the spectacularity of the scenes, among other things, it is noticeable that he is behind, in the production, Jerry Bruckheimer, who usually does this type of commercial productions very well..
